Remembrance Day Service

On Monday, November 11th, the Town of Wasaga Beach invites the community to join us at Town Hall for our annual Remembrance Day Ceremony, beginning at 10:30 AM.
Each year, on the 11th day of the 11th month, at the 11th hour, Canadians pause to reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifices made by the men and women who have served—and continue to serve—our country. This solemn day reminds us of the freedoms we cherish and the price paid to protect them.
The ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, a moment of silence, and words of remembrance as we come together as a community to honour those who fought in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping.
We encourage everyone—residents, families, veterans, and visitors alike—to take part in this important tradition of remembrance. Together, let’s show our gratitude and ensure that their legacy is never forgotten.
