Hop into a morning of family fun at the Town’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza, happening Sunday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex! This year, the event introduces a sweet new twist: a Willy Wonka–inspired Golden Ticket Easter Egg Hunt. Hidden among the colourful eggs will be a few special Golden Tickets, each redeemable for an exclusive prize—adding extra excitement to this beloved community tradition.
The Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Wasaga Beach Kinette Club with kind support from The Candy Factory, begins at 11 a.m., with designated areas for Little Bunnies (ages 0–6) and Big Bunnies (ages 7+) and runs while supplies last. Don’t forget to bring your basket!
Activities and attractions include:
- Interactive performances with prizes
- Craft tent with egg decorating and colouring contest with prizes donated by Grandma’s Beach Treats
- Inflatables, face painting, and a petting zoo
- Photo booth with the Easter Bunny
- Tim Hortons sponsored Spring Sip Station
- Spring Market hosted by the Wasaga Beach Farmers Market, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
